Camping Le Moulin: A Full-Service Water Park in the Heart of the Jura

As soon as you arrive, the mood is set: bustling pools, bursts of laughter from the water slides, and a summery atmosphere in the heart of the Jura. Here, your vacation immediately takes on a fun and refreshing vibe.
Water slides for thrill-seekers
The water slides at Camping Le Moulin are the true heart of the water park and promise unforgettable moments.
There are four slides, including a large, 7-meter-high tube slide that offers a fast and spectacular ride. The other slides, which are more accessible, allow children and teens to enjoy one slide after another in complete safety.
The slides are open every afternoon starting at 2:00 p.m. The large slide is open to children taller than 1m10.
Heated pools, a wading pool, and family fun
To take a break from the thrills, there are several swimming areas available:
- an indoor pool heated to 28°C, perfect in any weather
- a heated outdoor pool where you can enjoy the Jura sunshine
- a safe wading pool for the little ones
Even when the weather turns cooler, the vacation continues without a hitch. And for parents, a bubble bath quickly becomes a must after a busy day.
A wellness area reserved for adults
While the kids enjoy the pools, adults can treat themselves to a truly relaxing experience in the sauna and steam room, open daily from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It’s a peaceful space designed to help you unwind and truly disconnect during your vacation.
Domaine de l’Épinette: Water Slides and Aquagym in the Natural Setting of the Jura Mountains
At the 4-star Domaine de l’Épinette Campground in Châtillon, near Lake Chalain, the heated outdoor water park combines the joys of the water with a natural setting. Located in Châtillon, the campground offers a peaceful atmosphere where guests can enjoy their vacation with swimming, relaxation, and outdoor activities.
From the poolside, enjoy a beautiful view of the Jura countryside. It’s the perfect setting to relax while camping in the Jura as the kids have fun in the water parks.
Three water slides and a wading pool for the whole family
Children have three water slides to enjoy ride after ride throughout the day. They can slide down one after another in a friendly and safe environment.
The little ones can enjoy a wading pool with water play features, designed especially for them. A quieter swimming area also allows visitors to swim or relax away from the hustle and bustle of the water slides.
Free Water Aerobics in the Summer
In July and August, the campground offers free aqua aerobics classes led by a professional instructor. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning (9:30–10:15 a.m.), vacationers can start their day gently in heated water. It’s a simple, fun activity—perfect for staying active during your vacation.
A natural setting perfect for relaxation
The lounge chairs around the pools offer a beautiful view of the Jura countryside. It’s the perfect place to relax between swims and fully enjoy your vacation, surrounded by water and tranquility.

Here, the atmosphere is peaceful and nature reigns supreme: you can enjoy the water, relax, and spend time with your family in a safe, heated setting. The campground is bordered by the Ain River, where you can also go swimming.
Two heated pools to enjoy in any weather
The 200 m² aquatic area consists of a heated indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, which are connected to each other. This layout allows you to move from one to the other without getting out of the water, and, best of all, to enjoy swimming no matter what the weather is like in the Jura. Even at the beginning or end of the season, the water stays pleasant, and the fun never stops.
Paddling pool, water games, and bubble bath
The youngest children have access to a safe wading pool, designed for their first experiences in the water, complete with age-appropriate water toys. Meanwhile, older children can enjoy the swimming area, while adults can relax in the hot tub. It’s a simple balance between fun and relaxation.
A water park open starting in the spring
The campground’s water park is open from May 13 to September 13, every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This extended season allows guests to enjoy the pools starting in the spring, before the peak summer season.
